M\u00e9dicament Qu\u00e9bec \u2013 September 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

M\u00e9dicament Qu\u00e9bec is launching a call for applications for its Academic Platform Sustainability and Valorization Program<\/span><\/strong>, an initiative designed to provide Quebec scientific platforms with the tools they need to structure their development, increase their use, and foster their long-term sustainability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The program is intended for platforms that support research and innovation in the drug and vaccine sector and are seeking to increase their impact across academia and industry.<\/p>\n

Six platforms will be selected to take part in a 16-month support program<\/strong> combining training, workshops, mentorship, and group sessions. Participants will progressively develop a business plan tailored to the realities and ambitions of their platform.<\/p>\n

This call aims to:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Support the development and long-term sustainability of academic platforms;<\/p>\n

– Define a value proposition and positioning that address the needs of clients and users;<\/p>\n

– Develop a business model that diversifies funding sources and reduces reliance on competitive funding programs;<\/p>\n

– Support platforms in developing a robust business plan tailored to their realities;<\/p>\n

– Maximize the use, accessibility, and impact of existing academic infrastructure across Quebec\u2019s drug and vaccine ecosystem;<\/p>\n

– Foster collaboration among platforms, institutions, companies, and other strategic partners;<\/p>\n

– Strengthen the contribution of platforms to drug and vaccine research, development, and supply chains in Quebec.<\/p>\n

Who is the program for?<\/span><\/h3>\n

For the purposes of this program, a platform is defined as:<\/p>\n

Academic infrastructure that brings together specialized equipment, expertise, and services accessible to users or clients.<\/p>\n

The program is intended for:<\/p>\n

– Existing academic platforms<\/strong> offering services relevant to drug and vaccine discovery and development and seeking to develop or expand their offering to external clients, particularly industry;<\/p>\n

– Researchers already providing specialized services<\/strong> related to drug and vaccine development who are seeking to structure or expand their activities to evolve toward a platform model.<\/p>\n

Application Process<\/span><\/h3>\n

Application deadline: October 30, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Applications must include:<\/p>\n

1. Application form<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Budget<\/strong> outlining the main anticipated expenses and proposed co-funding sources.<\/p>\n
