D\u00e9couvrez le projet de Pr. De Crescenzo portant sur le d\u00e9veloppement nouvelle plateforme CHO pour la fabrication de vaccins influenza intranasaux.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La grippe repr\u00e9sente un fardeau persistant pour le syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 publique du Qu\u00e9bec. Les vaccins contre la grippe saisonni\u00e8re requi\u00e8rent des rappels r\u00e9currents et co\u00fbteux, demandant une production \u00e9lev\u00e9e de vaccins ainsi qu\u2019une cha\u00eene d\u2019approvisionnement \u00e9labor\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Les techniques actuelles de production vaccinale pr\u00e9sentent des limites notables qui laissent place \u00e0 des am\u00e9liorations afin de mieux r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de sant\u00e9 publique. Par exemple, la grippe aviaire\u00a0H5N1, qui devient une nouvelle menace de pand\u00e9mie, pourrait mettre la capacit\u00e9 de fabrication de vaccins standards \u00e0 base d\u2019\u0153ufs sous forte pression, tandis qu\u2019un vaccin ARNm reste encore risqu\u00e9, sous-optimal et tr\u00e8s co\u00fbteux avec sa cha\u00eene du froid obligatoire.<\/p>\n<p>Cette initiative de recherche vise \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper une <strong>plateforme de production de vaccins en bior\u00e9acteur<\/strong>, qui exploitera <strong>des pools stables de cellules CHO<\/strong> au lieu de lign\u00e9es cellulaires stables, avec comme avantage notable de r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement le temps de production des lots destin\u00e9s aux essais pr\u00e9cliniques in vivo et ayant le potentiel de contrer toute pand\u00e9mie d\u2019H5N1. De plus, des <strong>formulations intranasales lyophilis\u00e9es<\/strong> seront d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es afin d\u2019\u00e9liminer la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019une cha\u00eene du froid tout en offrant au patient un mode d\u2019administration mieux accept\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Ce portefeuille de plateformes technologiques sera directement transf\u00e9rable \u00e0 l\u2019industrie et permettra la production rentable de vaccins antigrippaux \u00e0 base d\u2019antig\u00e8nes en bior\u00e9acteur.<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Cette activit\u00e9 de recherche est soutenue par une \u00e9quipe multidisciplinaire incluant:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Des professeurs de\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.polymtl.ca\/\">Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al<\/a><\/strong><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0(Prs De Crescenzo, Henry, Guo) ;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Des chercheurs\u00a0<\/span>du\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/nrc.canada.ca\/fr\">Conseil national de recherches du Canada<\/a><\/strong><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0(Prs Durocher, El\u202fBakkouri, Tran) ;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Le partenaire industriel\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biodextris.com\/fr\">Biodextris<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"none\">impliqu\u00e9 dans la production de vaccins et de produits th\u00e9rapeutiques ;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Le partenaire industriel\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inspirevax.com\/\">Inspirevax<\/a><\/strong><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0qui se concentre sur la production d\u2019adjuvants pour r\u00e9pondre aux d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019administration intranasale.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">Ce projet b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie du soutien du gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec par l\u2019entremise de M\u00e9dicament Qu\u00e9bec, qui y investit 1,4 M$. \u00c0 cette contribution s\u2019ajoutent 0,7 M$ provenant de partenaires industriels, pour un investissement total de 2,1 M$.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a
