Receive the Deploy Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"212\" data-end=\"473\"><strong>February 12, 2026 &#8211; News from Our Researchers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"212\" data-end=\"473\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"212\" data-end=\"473\">Professor Corinne Hoesli and Cellterix Biomedical Inc. have received the prestigious Deployment Award, presented by Desjardins in partnership with the McGill Innovation Fund, to support the development of an innovative cell therapy approach for type 1 diabetes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"475\" data-end=\"767\">This support will help accelerate Cellterix\u2019s efforts to make cell therapy more accessible to people living with diabetes, notably by strengthening intellectual property, advancing key preclinical efficacy studies, and reinforcing the company\u2019s positioning with potential commercial partners.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"769\" data-end=\"1151\">Prof. Hoesli also leads one of the structuring activities funded by M\u00e9dicament Qu\u00e9bec, focused on scaling up the biofabrication of therapeutic organoids derived from stem cells.
