By facilitating companies\u2019 access to existing academic equipment and expertise, we aim to accelerate the development of therapeutic solutions while playing an active matchmaking role between industry and researchers,\u201d said Arianne Trudeau, Executive Director of M\u00e9dicament Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p>The program is based on a structured two-step process. In the first stage, companies and academic researchers are invited to submit an expression of interest describing a research activity that addresses a concrete drug or vaccine development challenge in collaboration with Quebec-based academic researchers. M\u00e9dicament Qu\u00e9bec will then review the submissions and, where appropriate, provide targeted support to help identify relevant academic researchers and resources and facilitate connections. Teams with complete files will subsequently be invited to submit a joint application, which will be evaluated by independent external experts. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until available funds are fully allocated.<\/p>\n<p>This call aims to mobilize Quebec\u2019s academic expertise and resources to help companies reach key development milestones and accelerate the advancement of their drug and vaccine programs. Through this mobilization, the program encourages the deployment of activities with strong translational impact and high potential for long-term sustainability within the ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about the program, eligibility criteria, and submission process, companies and researchers are invited to visit the M\u00e9dicament Qu\u00e9bec website.
