Fully\u00a0leveraging\u00a0the potential of these resources will help capitalize on the\u00a0expertise\u00a0developed within these institutions and maximize their impact\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">throughout<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0Quebec\u2019s life sciences ecosystem.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201cQuebec has exceptional scientific infrastructure and\u00a0expertise. By supporting their development, structuring, and valorization, we can both maximize the potential of our platforms and contribute to their long-term sustainability, while giving Quebec companies better access to the expertise and resources they need to advance their innovations,\u201d said Arianne Trudeau, Executive Director of\u00a0M\u00e9dicament\u00a0Qu\u00e9bec.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>A 16-month support program to develop a business plan\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Up to six academic platforms will be selected to receive 16 months of support to develop a business plan tailored to their realities and ambitions. Through a combination of training, workshops, mentorship, and group sessions, the program will help participants develop their intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial skills and provide them with practical tools to better\u00a0leverage\u00a0their platforms, structure their development, and contribute to their long-term sustainability.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Participants will work to refine their value proposition, define their business model, better understand their clients and market, develop and structure the various components of their business plan, and strengthen their\u00a0competence to present and communicate\u00a0the value of\u00a0their service offering.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>A program for platforms and teams looking to advance their development\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The program is open to existing academic platforms offering\u00a0expertise, equipment, infrastructure, or specialized services relevant to drug and vaccine discovery and development, and\u00a0seeking\u00a0to develop, structure, or\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">increase the value and impact of their activities<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0their activities to maximize their potential and foster their long-term sustainability.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Researchers who already provide specialized services and are looking to structure their activities to evolve toward a platform model in this field are also invited to apply.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The deadline to\u00a0submit\u00a0applications is\u00a0<\/span><strong>October 30, 2026<\/strong><span data-contrast=\"none\">. An information\u00a0webinar\u00a0will be held on<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><strong>October 1 at 12:00 p.m.<\/strong><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0to present the program and answer applicants\u2019 questions.
