<\/p>\n

Montr\u00e9al, QC, October 20, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 M\u00e9dicament Qu\u00e9bec is proud to announce a $1.2 million investment, made possible through the support of the Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019\u00c9conomie, de l\u2019Innovation et de l\u2019\u00c9nergie (MEIE), in four collaborative research projects bringing together academic researchers and Qu\u00e9bec-based companies. Including contributions from industry partners, these projects represent a total investment of $2.5 million under the Industrial Access to Academic Platforms<\/em> program.<\/p>\n

This funding program aims to address industry needs by facilitating access to academic expertise, equipment, and infrastructure, while developing sustainable, collaborative capabilities that will benefit the broader drug and vaccine ecosystem.<\/p>\n

The four projects supported under the program are:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Prof. Marc-Andr\u00e9 Fortin (CHU de Qu\u00e9bec Research Centre, Universit\u00e9 Laval), Aramis Biotechnologies Inc., and Feldan Therapeutics:
    \n<\/strong>Accelerating the generation of reliable scientific data in nanomedicine through an advanced microscopy service for Qu\u00e9bec companies in the vaccine and pharmaceutical sectors.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Prof. Peter M. Siegel (Goodman Cancer Institute, McGill University) and 9Bio Therapeutiques:
      \n<\/strong>An integrated ADC development platform connecting antibody engineering, critical quality attributes, and translational performance for Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s biotechnology ecosystem.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Prof. Gr\u00e9goire Leclair (Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al) and Medisca Pharmaceutique Inc.:
        \n<\/strong>Toward sustainable pharmaceutical autonomy: Structuring and standardizing pharmaceutical compounding in Qu\u00e9bec.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Prof. Marc-Andr\u00e9 Legault (CHU Sainte-Justine), Groupe Sorintellis Inc., and Vantage Biotrials Inc.:
          \n<\/strong>Artificial intelligence to optimize clinical trial protocols and study design.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          \u201cThese projects are driven by concrete industry needs, which academic teams address by leveraging their expertise and infrastructure. Our goal is to go beyond meeting immediate needs and develop sustainable, accessible platforms and capabilities that can ultimately benefit Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s entire drug and vaccine ecosystem,\u201d said Arianne Trudeau, Executive Director of M\u00e9dicament Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n
