Médicament Québec – February 2026

Médicament Québec invites Quebec life sciences companies to propose a structuring collaborative research activity related to drug and vaccine development. The objective is to facilitate companies’ access to academic expertise, equipment, and infrastructure, while ensuring an active matchmaking role between industry and the academic sector. Funds provided will cover only expenses incurred within Quebec public research institutions.

This call aims to:

Address the needs of the industrial sector;

• Accelerate industry–academia collaborations in Quebec;
• Create or optimize infrastructure, tools, or other initiatives that will generate benefits for Quebec society, offer commercialization potential, and/or be sustainably maintained by industry and/or academia;
• Maximize the impact of existing academic infrastructure;
• Accelerate the transfer of preclinical research into applications;
• Support activities with strong translational impact and high potential for sustainability;
• Strengthen local supply chains.
