Standardized Compounding Formulas Québec (MSQ): Standardize compounded medications prepared in pharmacies

Through its valorization program, Médicament Québec supports teams in the development, structuring, and long-term sustainability of promising platforms for Québec’s drug development ecosystem.
As part of the program, participating teams recently presented their projects during a pitch session marking the culmination of their journey.
Today, we invite you to discover Magistrales Standardisées Québec, an initiative led by Professor Grégoire Leclair of Université de Montréal, which aims to support pharmacists through a centralized and accessible platform designed to standardize compounded preparations.
Supported by Université de Montréal, CHU Sainte-Justine, AQPP, APES, and Vigilance, recognized by INESSS, and already actively used across the ecosystem, the MSQ platform continues to expand in order to further support pharmacy practice in Québec. The project team was also awarded the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec’s 2024 Innovation Award.
